Once again the Youth Services department has done an awesome display for banned books week!  It might be hard to tell, but all the characters have a reason for why some organization somewhere tried or did ban them.  The books also have a short description as to why they were banned.  From left to right: Winnie the Pooh banned because talking animals is an insult to God, Wizard of Oz banned for depicting women in strong leadership roles, The Lorax banned because it criminalized the forest industry, Where the Wild Things Are banned for being too scary, and Diary of Anne Frank banned for being too depressing.
